Please contact any of these people here above, for any help with Neapolitan Mastiff Welfare or Breed Advice.

Sadly, as with all breeds, we have our fair share of mastini coming into Rescue, for a variety of reasons. Our foster carers take them into their homes, assess them for suitability, take them to the vet for health checks, love and care for them, until the correct home is found for them.

The prospective new owners will be asked to fill in a questionaire for adoption and a home check will be done prior to adoption and prior to meeting any mastini in Rescue.

It is of utmost importance that these mastini are placed into suitable permanent homes, where they can receive the correct care, treatment and love they missed out on first time around. We do specify however, that anyone interested in adopting a rescued mastino has a good degree of knowledge of the breed, with no children under 12 years of age and, where there will be someone at home.

While in Rescue, all males and females will be spayed/neutered, wormed and unless accompanied by an up-to-date veterinary card, vaccinated also. Any other medical/veterinary treatment needed will also be dealt with prior to adoption.

Most of our rescued mastini make wonderful pets. We have lots of letters and photographs from people who have adopted one or two and find them so loving and loyal, more-so than one which has always had a happy life they say: It's almost as if they're grateful for being given that second chance that they so much deserved to start with.

We are currently seeking experienced and knowledgeable foster carers here in the U.K. as our homes are limited.

Here you will find details of mastini looking for a good home. For further details please e-mail Kathy South.

BLUE (URGENT!!!!)

Blue is an 18 month old neutered grey male, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He has been in the NCDL in Wales for a few months, due to a bad upbringing. Blue was not taught how to behave properly, but since being worked with in the NCDL with behaviourists, Blue is now a very happy, and loving little boy.
Now adopted!

Due to Blue's time spent in the NCDL his time is running out for his experienced, no children and loving forever home to come along, so Blue's days there are now numbered and he faces being put to sleep very soon.

If anyone can help Blue and has the amount of experience required to carry on working with this sweet boy, then please contact one of the following....

Rachel....07970-825488 ( Blue's carer in the NCDL)
Kathy.......01268-455791 (Club Secretary)
